DATA ACCESS AND DELIVERY
The SA Centre has identified a range of priorities which are a combination of clearly defined research based priority areas, and cross cutting thematic priorities integral to facilitating the translational pathway. Two key cross cutting priority areas include:
- Data Access and Delivery
- Evidence Based Pathways: Development and consistent implementation and audit of evidence based pathways for known high morbidity and mortality in SA e.g. stroke, diabetes.
On 16 March 2017, the SA Centre in conjunction with the Health Performance Council co-hosted a workshop to explore issues with data access for health audit and research with academics, clinicians, consumers and policy makers from public and independent sectors in South Australia.

The workshop showcased South Australian public sector developments in clinical data system developments and data sharing, and advancing transparency in the health sector through data access and use to improve quality and safety of care.
